We just returned from a family reunion this weekend. Wow, so much fun! Uncle Fred & Brian really had a chance to get to know eachother much better. They were inseperable the whole weekend. Brian loved all of Fred's classic cars that he is restoring and hearing all about their history. Also, the reunion was in Great Aunt Marie's honor, she was visiting from Michigan, and I haven't seen her since I was about 12...so 10 years ago. Emma had a blast, playing with the quads and dirtbike equipment. It was a very fun weekend and Uncle Fred & Aunt Cathy really made it so accomadating. Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful home. Hope to see you all soon.

cHiCkEn PoX!
Emma has the pox, chicken style. One of the little boys I nanny for had 3 'bug bites' yesterday. Today, he had them all over, they obviously weren't bug bites. Now we are starting to notice some of them on Emma.
Oh well, she had to get them at one time or another. Better now than later. She is still super happy, and she hasn't been bothered by them yet. She has had her immunization; so she will hopefully have a much milder case.
Also, today I pulled out a tooth! I was actually super excited when it came out. It was the 6 year old I nanny for and he had been complaining of his wiggly tooth all day. So I asked him to sit down and open his mouth, and I just pulled that sucker out! It just came out, no problem, and it didn't hurt Jacob much. He was so happy, and he bragged to everyone that he lost a tooth. He can't wait for the tooth fairy to visit him tonight.
Overall, today was eventful. I am absolutely loving my new job. And I am overall just happier.

UPDATE...
I GOT THE JOB!!! and I LOVE IT ~ The boys are super adorable. We already have a routine, and everything has gone smoothly. WOW, what a huge difference it has been to care for 4 children (3 under the age of 3), compared to just Emma. But I really have enjoyed it. I gave my 2 weeks notice to my other job. Soon Brian and I will have the weekends off together again! It will be so nice! We haven't had regular days off together since I started working...almost 2 years ago! We will have cleaning saturdays and lazy sundays!!! Im so happy! I have needed a change, and I think that this was it!
I am loving watching children! I am throwing around the idea of one day opening up an at home daycare. Of course that is WAY down the road...we would need a home first, lol.
Beth, thanks for the B-DAY shout out. I love ya, and I miss you already. I hope that we can see eachother soon. I don't have your new number, so email it to me please. Also, give that sweet red-headed baby a kiss from me! Emma also misses Britton, tons!

Yesterday was super busy...
Wow, yesterday was full of activities. First, we drove to North Bend to the factory stores & did a little shopping!!! It was a lot of fun! It has been a very long time since Brian or I have bought clothes for ourselves & not our little munchkin. It was really nice to have clothes that look nice & new!
Then we drove down to Snoqualmie Falls...all I have to say is WOW! It was so beautiful. I never realized that I was scared of heights until that moment...we were standing on a platform just above the falls & I was so nervous...poor Emma, I was holding her hand a little too tightly, lol. She was fearless...she wanted so badly to climb over the fence of the platform to get a better look. I should have brought the digital camera...why is it that you never have a camera when you need one???
Then we headed home & I met with a nice woman about becoming her nanny. She has 3 handsom little boys (ages 1,2 & 6). The great thing if I do get this job will be that I can bring Emma to work with me. I should know by Monday if I got the job...so wish me luck!
We haven't posted too many blogs lately, because we have just been super busy lately. And I continue to forget my camera whenever we go places. But we should have some more blogs this summer.
