Emma is sick...

Our poor little lady...she hasn't been feeling too well lately. I mean she isn't super sick or anything, but no parent wants to see their child in pain. She is usually so energetic and bouncing off the walls. On Saturday, Emma was burning up all day and she wouldn't eat or drink anything at all. She was vomiting and had diarrhea...poor baby. She is just very lethargic and she is in pain. She was crying and screaming all night and pointing to her tummy.

She ate an orange for breakfast this morning and some water and juice...she has kept it all down. So hopefully she is starting to feel better. We are keeping a close eye on her fever, and I'm sure she will be bouncing off of the walls again very soon.

Popsicles and cool baths have helped bring down her fever...any other advice would be helpful.

much love,
the smith's

Sorry to hear Emma is not feeling well. Fevers are a actually a good sign that their little immune systems are working and fighting off infections. Although very hard when they don't eat or drink & are just miserable. Just keep her hydrated. Thank goodness for pedialite (I gave some to Carson tonight) and pedialite popcicles.
