Last July, as many of you know, I had a scary situation with my health. The situation was never really solved, because after I had my mammogram and ultrasound I went to see a surgeon who told me "sometimes these things just happen, it was probably just a one time thing and if anything just wait for it to get worse, because I just don't feel comfortable doing a biopsy on someone so young."
I was frustrated because I felt like because of my age, I wasn't taken seriously. My insurance was canceled because I had quit my job a month earlier. So I had to wait until I could get onto Brian's insurance, and he only has open-enrollment once a year. So I had only one choice...wait 6 months, get on Brian's insurance and then get a 2nd opinion....
SIX MONTHS LATER...I still have the problem with my breast and within the last month or so, it has been incredibly tender and painful.
So I have an appointment with the University of Washington in Seattle. It is at their breast clinic at Harborview. It will be reassuring to have people that know what they are doing, helping me. I am just so nervous and frustrated and in pain. :(
But I will hopefully know a diagnosis soon. This whole thing has been so annoying and drawn-out. Six months is a long time to be sick, and not know what is even wrong with you...we are finally at the end. I will be posting more blogs about this, just because this is a good way to vent without whining to other people.

Oh Allie! I'm so glad you are in good hands, now. Are you going to stay a little while in Seattle when they are running tests? I know a nice place to stay for free. And we'd love to see you guys. I hope you had a really awesome Christmas.
Keep us updated, we really hope everything is ok with that and are htinking about you. I also hope you stick to your resolution to come to Utah. We would love to see you guys.
